The Heart chakra

The affirmation of this chakra is I love. Its Sanskrit name is Anāhata and is located at heart level, in the center of the chest. It is associated with the color green and its element iswater.

This chakra is composed of 2 parts:

- lower Heart chakra
- Upper Heart chakra

The lower Heart chakra symbolizesunconditional love, like that between mother and baby.

The upper Heart chakra representslove in general and emotions.

Harmony of the Heart chakra

  • Balance

    When balanced, this chakra can bring you zenitude and harmony. Your heart is filled with thelove you give and receive, including to yourself. You can be very empathetic and open-minded.

  • Imbalance

    • Hypoactivity

      On the other hand, in the event of low Heart chakra activity, you could become hateful, bitter and intolerant. In the process, your empathy and self-confidence would plummet and you'd feel disconnected from others.

    • Hyperactivity

      If this chakra is too active, you may feel a strong dependence on others and be in constant demand, whether for attention, love, listening or anything else.
