Provenance and fabrication

It's often difficult to choose a statue - in fact, we bring back very few from our travels, selecting them for their facial expressions and the energies they exude.
This bronze Buddha struck a chord with us, his fine features exuding great calm and infinite wisdom.
We met him at a craftsman's workshop in the Kathmandu valley, where he works conscientiously using traditional techniques.
