Why create jewelry with mother-of-pearl beads in lithotherapy?

Breastfeeding - Physical and spiritual fertility - Femininity - Serenity and sensitive love - Connection to ancestors - Purity, prosperity - Fluidity and openness

Marvel at the magnificent iridescent colors of the mother-of-pearl beads. Let yourself be lulled by its gentle, feminine and welcoming energy. Mother-of-pearl carries within it the memory of the oceans and the creation of life. It's a protective matrix that gently invites you to relax for a lasting feeling of serenity.

Mother-of-pearl brings a touch of femininity and elegance to your jewelry. It also has anti-stress and regenerative properties for the body.

A natural treasure from the depths of the sea that reveals itself to the sun, Mother-of-Pearl symbolizes that which asks to see the light, to be born. It is there to soothe an awakening, a birth, whether of a life, a simple idea, or the idea of a life.

Thus, in lithotherapy, Mother-of-Pearl has the property of being a vector of fertility on all levels of life.
To create life and renew it is to mature one's view of others and the world. From the depths of the ocean to the sunlit earth, a path leads through Others and through our deepest selves. It leads to a space of harmony, a sacred light-dark place, its own unknown. A symbol of femininity, prosperity and serenity, Mother-of-Pearl signifies an idea of purity, a harmony between light and darkness. As such, as delicate as it is resistant, it preserves and nurtures balance, ensuring the circulation of fluids, for a free and sensitive world.

Mineralogy of your pearls

Mother-of-pearl is formed by the stacking of very regular layers inside the shells of certain mollusks - by the action of conchyoline protein cemented with aragonite. Its beautiful iridescent colors are the visual result. Its extreme hardness may depend on the Aragonite contained in the shape - although the shell structure is otherwise brittle.

Cultured pearl nacre is created by an oyster, usually inside its shell, to cover a grain of sand or other foreign object. The foreign object is then covered with layers of mother-of-pearl to create round shapes that are naturally close to perfection.
