The virtues and properties of Astrophyllite in lithotherapy

Illumination - Dreams - Steps - Confidence - Extrasensory perception - Inspiration - Protection - Awareness - Alertness

Fascinating and radiant with its many starry lamellae, Astrophyllite is an ally that puts light where you'd better look if you don't want to get bogged down in situations that don't suit you.

How does Astrophyllite work?

That's what it's all about: with it, there's no question of being wilfully blinded! Instead of falling asleep on habits that take the place of certainties, it enables you to avoid pain-avoidance strategies that ultimately only perpetuate a state of malaise. Its generous virtues invite you to move on to the next stage, to stop stagnating and comforting yourself in a state that prevents your soul from expressing itself.

It intensifies dreams for greater awareness and, in everyday life, it enables "solar breakthroughs" in the mental fog, to let in the intuitions and inspirations that guide and impel us to act.

What does Astrophyllite do on the physical plane?

Physically, it stimulates digestion.

Astrophyllite in mineralogy

A rare mineral, astrophyllite is a basic silicate of the sorosilicate class containing mainly iron, potassium and titanium.

Its crystal system is triclinic, but forms lamellar aggregates often arranged in the shape of a "star" or "sun".

Its hues range from golden yellow to dark bronze-brown, sometimes orange. Its brilliance is like that of glass and reveals a pearly play of color.

Astrophyllite is found only in rare deposits in remote regions of the USA, Greenland, Russia, Quebec and Norway.

Its name comes from the Greek and literally means "star leaf".
