Buddstone, African Jade or Prasem
fine stones, rolled, polished, rough, in jewelry pendants

Buddstone or African jade, also known as Prasem, is a crystalline quartz. In jewelry, it is also known as Quartz prase, or confused with Prasiolite (heated green quartz) when presented as a gem. Patience and determination are its main virtues in lithotherapy.

What are the virtues and properties of Budstone in lithotherapy?

Patience and balance in your relationship with the world - Determination - Anti-migraine and pains

African jade is known in lithotherapy for its migraine-healing properties, but also for the properties of its symbol, which teaches us patience, endurance and determination.

Aligning our strengths to achieve our goals

Its link with the heart chakra makes it a tool for achieving our goals, thanks to an awareness of the confidence we must have in ourselves. This self-esteem, properly understood, is in no way equivalent to arrogance or exaltation, to thehubris of the ancient Greeks. It's about restoring a balance in our relationship with the world that takes into account the control and understanding of our impulses. To embark on a path of wisdom in order to achieve and preserve a spiritual harmony, able to grasp our contradictions and others in all their complexity. This will strengthen our diplomatic and communication skills.

This stone frees both our spiritual and physical energy. Buddstone's spiritual benefits help us to broaden our perception of reality; and from a physical point of view, Prasem soothes our relationship with pain in general and headaches in particular.

Notes on the mineralogy of your stone

Not to be confused with Quartz containing chlorite, budstone is a Quartz prase - belonging to the Oxides register and therefore containing Actinolite (iron and magnesium). The name Buddstone is based on commercial considerations, and the leek-green hue and South African origin of Prasem distinguish it from other prase Quartz used in jewelry.
