What are the virtues and properties of Charoïte in lithotherapy?

Healing of emotional wounds - Courage - Reconnection - Self-knowledge - Guide - Antistress - Prevents burn-out - Present moment - Free will - Protection - Spirituality

Do you ever have a mountain of unfinished business piling up? A mountain so high you think you'll never get there? A mental load that's too heavy? If so, rather than procrastinate, complain, panic or let yourself be overwhelmed by the risk of burn-out, try Charoïte!

This is the virtue of this stone: to give you the impetus, courage, faith and determination you need to climb your mountain. It will help you understand that nothing is insurmountable and that unsuspected resources can reveal themselves.
By helping you to reduce stress and calm your anxieties, fears and fears, Charoïte is welcome at those moments in life when uncertainty takes up too much space, when storms loom and waves threaten. In the face of anxiety, it acts as a shield. You can face up to events by being your own guide and not the puppet of your fears.

With it, you take the risk of learning that the present moment is the perfect moment. Charoïte is a stone of transformation; it can be your guide, helping you on your path towards yourself, however steep it may be; for example, by inviting you to free yourself from the projections and transfers that unconsciously govern relationships, to break out of the prison of Karpman's triangle (as described in transactional analysis) and fully rediscover your own free will.

On a physical level, Charoïte soothes and strengthens the nervous system, which can calm nerve-related pain. It can reduce fever and help strengthen the heart muscle. On the energetic level, it strengthens the etheric body, making us less vulnerable to illness and "energy attacks".

Charoite mineralogy

Charoïte is a particularly complex phyllosilicate, very rich in various minerals and containing water. It was formed from magma and mineral substances detached from the rock around 100 million years ago, when the entire Muruk region of Siberia was disturbed, compressed and displaced several times due to numerous volcanic eruptions. Minerals were melted and dissolved, and new magmatic and metamorphic rocks were formed. Charoïte was born in the contact zone between these two rocks. Its formation process is called "metasomatosis" (modification of the chemical composition of a rock).

Its fibrous layers are the result of pressure and tectonic movements.

Its colors are gray, purple and violet, with occasional black areas and green highlights.

Where can I find Charoïte?

Charoite's only known deposit is on the banks of the Chara River (hence the name!) in Eastern Siberia.
Known for a very long time in the shamanic tradition of the Urals, Charoite was only identified as a mineral in 1978.
