Galaxite
fine stones in pebbles and rolled stones
Galaxite, also known as Galaxyite, takes its name from its appearance evoking a starry sky or galaxies - an impression due to its iridescent Labradorite inclusions.
In lithotherapy, it invites you to visit the Unknown with a gentle, poetic and intuitive gaze.
What are the virtues and properties of galaxite in lithotherapy?
Its symbols
Galaxite, discovered in Canada in 1995, features small inclusions of Labradorite that give it a sparkling and cosmic appearance reminiscent of galaxies. In fact, it bears its name as a tribute to our universe.
The Galaxite reminds you that everything is neither black nor white. Every situation has a reason to exist and the most difficult ones are also an opportunity to see what's hidden in the darkness. This stone invites you to explore your shadows, those parts of your being that are so difficult to get through, in order to discover the treasures that lie within.
Its benefits
Galaxite can be seen as a metaphor for the human connection to the stars and beings of light. It offers a link to higher dimensions for spiritual healing through travel and communication.
Galaxite protects and enables transformation: through its properties of inner balance and peace, it promotes the powers of mediation, while working towards an openness to intuition and creativity.
On a physical level
In lithotherapy, Galaxite's gentle vibrations are ideal for soothing anxiety-related disorders and often all tensions echoed in the body, such as muscular pain or migraines.

Galaxite is created in igneous rocks by a process of magmatic differentiation.
The iridescent effect produced by its micro-crystals is called labradorescence. Belonging to the Feldspar family, Galaxite is mineralogically a variety of Labradorite.
Calcium, sodium and aluminum silicate are part of its chemical composition.
It is mined mainly in Canada, but is also found in various feldspar-rich regions.
Its hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale makes it a rather resistant stone.
