Gem silicate is silica in its gem form. It is a greenish-blue variety of Chalcedony containing Chrysocolla (also known as Chrysocolla Chalcedony).
This stone brilliantly combines the virtues of Chalcedony and Chrysocolla. It's a wonderful ally for those who find it difficult to speak "from the heart", to express their feelings and emotions, or to listen to others.
It links the heart chakra to the throat chakra, facilitating communication and the bonds of friendship and family.
Physically, it boosts the immune system and can increase respiratory capacity.
