What are the spiritual virtues of Polychrome Jasper in lithotherapy?
A contemporary symbol
While the use of Jasper as a ritual object in many cultures is attested throughout the ages, the multicolored variety, polychrome Jasper, was only recently discovered in Madagascar, in 2008.
A rare stone, complex to extract due to the nature of the terrain, its modern esoteric symbolism makes it a stone linked to gentle evolution, on the path to a rebirth that ensures its stability.
Properties and benefits of lithotherapy
Polychrome Jasper is a symbol of reconnection with oneself, with natural cycles and telluric forces.
The range of its colors represents its actions on various energy levels:
Just as their appearance evokes the desert, the rocks and dunes carved by the wind, their link to the natural elements expresses the anchoring power of Jaspes in red and brown tones.
For their help in calming intense emotions and reducing anxiety, beige Jasper or pink support gentleness and emotional openness.
Green Jasper stimulates vitality and motivation, encouraging a calm and reasonable state of resilience.
Its stability and comfort are global in lithotherapy. Faced with external changes and the need for self-transformation, it proposes an attitude that reinforces acceptance of the moment, its necessary calming elaboration and revitalized self-confidence.
What lithotherapy stones should Imperial Jasper be associated with?
To amplify the benefits of Polychrome Jasper and create energetic synergies, it can be combined with several other complementary crystals and stones:
- Carnelian or Cornelian stimulates vitality and creative imagination
- Hematite, or iron oxide, can contribute to emotional stability and facilitate productive concentration.
- a combination with Smoky Quartz crystal can strengthen an anchoring that helps ward off harmful energies.

Mineralogy of Polychrome Jasper
Polychromatic Jasper consists mainly of silicon dioxide, with inclusions of iron, limestone and other metal oxides in the siliceous matrix, depending on its patterns and colors.
Jasper is a microcrystalline form of quartz. Its crystal system is trigonal - rhombohedral in shape, with three axes equal at more or less 90°.
Stone is formed by sedimentation or volcanic activity, followed by geological pressure.
These deposits are found in Madagascar in particular, but also in Brazil, India, the United States and Russia.
Its hardness ranges from 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale (the stone is relatively resistant).
