pebbles, pendants, rolled stones, beads, rough stones
In lithotherapy, Yellow Jasper is a stone of protection, wisdom and discernment. It accompanies you in your motivation, maturation and reflection before taking action.

What are the virtues and properties of yellow jasper in lithotherapy?
An ancient symbolic value
The priests and shamans of ancient Assyrian, Greek and Persian cultures used yellow jasper as a talisman of protection and discernment, to help them see inside themselves and understand the outside world.
He was a symbol of courage and wisdom, a guide who preserved clarity and stability of mind; furthermore, his energy was considered so powerful that it could bring rain.
Self-confidence and mental clarity in lithotherapy
It's a stone associated with wisdom, with both vitalizing and stabilizing effects in lithotherapy. Yellow Jasper will strengthen your lucid outlook on yourself and the world, dispelling fears and, like a wise companion, boosting your self-confidence.
However, its symbols do not encourage extroversion. A good self-image can be built up discreetly, without arrogance or pretension. The philosopher and the wise man understand that certain realizations and changes require time, patience and perseverance. Reconsidering, integrating and reconciling require a state of consciousness that is spiritually invested in action and duration.
Yellow Jasper can also be your companion on a journey to the heart of your roots. Reconnecting with your allies and ancestors also means connecting with yourself to better receive their teachings. And by helping you to become aware of potentials you'd forgotten existed, it can help to heal wounds.
You'll then be able to take well-considered action with caution and common sense, without letting yourself be carried away by impulsiveness.

Mineralogy of Yellow Jasper
It is a microcrystalline quartz belonging to the silicate family.
Yellow Jasper is the product of silicification: as soils erode in sedimentary or volcanic environments, silica insinuates itself into agglomerates of sand or clay, impregnating them with impurities. The resulting silicon dioxide, iron hydroxide and manganese oxide will dye it yellow-ochre, yellow-beige to brown.
It can be found in Brazil, India and Australia.
It is a relatively resistant stone: its hardness can vary between 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale.
