Instructions for use
Hardware:
- White sage in bulk
- A heat-resistant receptacle (abalone shell, ceramic saucer, etc.).
- Lit candle
- Pen or fan (optional)
- Bowl with sand base (to extinguish the sage)
Instructions:
- Give thanks to Sage and set your purification intention.
- Place a pinch of sage in your receptacle. Light the sage with a candle or match, holding the flame close to the leaves until they ignite.
- Once the sage is smoking, blow gently on the flame to extinguish it. The embers will consume the leaves.
- Start by purifying your own energy field and taking a "smoke shower". Hold the receptacle and move slowly around the room, making sure that the smoke reaches every nook and cranny, object and wall. You can also focus only on specific areas that need cleaning.
- You can use a feather or a fan to direct smoke to specific areas or help it disperse.
- Once the fumigation process is complete, place your receptacle on a heat-supporting surface and let the Sage extinguish itself. Discard any leaves that have not burned down completely.
- Thanks the plant for its work
- Open all windows wide for about 20min.
Precautions
Valid for all types of fumigation (incense, plants, sticks, resins, wood, etc. natural or not)
- Always air the room thoroughly.
- Place your incense out of the reach of children and pets, on a suitable heat-sensitive support and away from anything flammable.
- Never leave incense burning unattended.
- Do not inhale smoke directly.
Frankincense is not recommended for pregnant women and can be dangerous for people with respiratory problems, babies, asthmatics and small animals.
