Instructions for use

Resins and gums are burned on charcoal or without charcoal on a censer with a tealight. Our resins can also be used to make your own incense sticks.

On a coal

Materials required:

      • Natural resin of your choice
      • Charcoal for incense burner (pellets or discs)
      • Incense burner suitable for coals
      • Charcoal tongs (optional)
      • Lighter or match

Instructions :

      1. Prepare the charcoal: Using the charcoal tongs, if you have them, pick up a charcoal and place it on the burner grate. Light the charcoal with a lighter or match until it crackles and place it in your resin burner.
      2. Add the resin: Once the charcoal is glowing, place a small amount of resin (about a chickpea) on top of the charcoal. The resin should begin to melt and release its fragrance. You can adjust the amount of resin according to the intensity of the scent you want.
      3. Let the smoke disperse. If you have a censer with a handle or suspension, you can move around with it to spread the smoke wherever you like.

Caution! Do not touch the censer until it has cooled down completely. Ventilate the room well, as this type of fumigation produces a lot of smoke.

Coal-free

Materials required:

      • Resin burner or essential oil burner with tealight candle
      • The resin(s) of your choice
      • Lighter or match
      • A mortar and pestle to crush your resin into small pieces

Instructions :

      1. Light the tealight and place a pinch of resin (in powder or small pieces - large pieces won't melt) on the container provided.
      2. With the heat produced by the candle flame, the resin gradually melts, releasing its delicate fragrance.
      3. When the resin has melted and cooled, you can peel off any remaining resin by hand, discard it and clean the cup with a small brush and hot water.

This method is ideal for diffusing the virtues of resin in a room while delicately perfuming it and for people who have difficulty with smoke and

Precautions

Valid for all types of fumigation (incense, plants, sticks, resins, wood, etc. natural or not)

  • Always air the room thoroughly.
  • Place your incense out of the reach of children and pets, on a suitable heat-sensitive support and away from anything flammable.
  • Never leave incense burning unattended.
  • Do not inhale smoke directly.

Frankincense is not recommended for pregnant women and can be dangerous for people with respiratory problems, babies, asthmatics and small animals.
