The benefits of an Amber pendant

In lithotherapy

Amber is a stone of fire, and as a pendant it brings dynamism, joviality and calms anxiety.

Amber is said to be a solar stone, warming the heart and soul of its wearer. Fire-type stones are generally not recommended for people prone to anger, but Amber is.

Your Amber pendant can help awaken and stimulate your sacral chakra (located 2 fingers below your navel) and solar plexus chakra.

An ancient history

Amber is a fossil resin, but according to the poetic vision of the ancient Greek historian Nicias, it was formed when the sun set over the horizon of the waves. Others saw in the fossilized sap the tears of gods or mythical heroes. According to Quintus' version of The Fall of Troy, it was a solar stone that accompanied him in his mourning. At the funerals ofAchilles and Ajax, amber drops were heaped on their bodies in a majestic ceremony.

Ancient Greek and later Roman women wore amber animal figurines, particularly hares, frogs and fish, to preserve their fertility.
Homer himself describes in theOdyssey the gifts his suitors bring Penelope to win her favor. Among them, a necklace of Amber and gold, shining like a sun:

"And they brought him magnificent gifts: gold brooches and necklaces, various ornaments and bracelets. And Euryale gave him a necklace of amber and gold, shining like the sun."

(The Odyssey, XVIII, 295-298)

Amber also inspired the Vikings to carve it into animal shapes to retain their primordial energy. For the ancient Chinese, when a tiger died, its soul took the form of amber.

It's a trace of the past, a frozen light that transcends pain.
