The Kûrma Advent calendar is made up of 24 natural stones (different from those in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 calendars) accompanied by their messages, to be discovered in pretty numbered pockets.
Every day, let yourself be amazed by :
- 1 natural semi-precious stone, polished or rough, approx. 1.5 to 4.5 cm.
- 1 explanatory card with the stone's name, origin, virtues, suggested use, message, colors, corresponding chakras and a link to further information.

Stones, crystals and minerals can be formidable daily allies in helping to harmonize the energies of a place or a person , as support in a difficult moment or in a particular stage of life.
With the simple information that accompanies each stone in this calendar, you'll have all the tools you need to practice lithotherapy safely in your everyday life, whether you're an initiate or a beginner.

How do I use the cards and stones in this calendar?
1. How to choose a stone
Once you've collected all 24 cards and stones, you'll be able to use them throughout the year as an oracle, to be completed each year with our next Advent calendars.
Using them as an oracle is very simple:
With cards
Shuffle the cards, place them face-down in front of you and choose one by asking your question. For example: "Which stone would suit me best today? Which stone has a message for me?" or "Which stone could help me in this situation?
With stones
Place all your stones in the large bag you received with your calendar and pick one or more without looking while asking your question.
"Choosing a stone to put in your pocket for the day is always a magical moment".
By instinct or virtue
You can also simply choose the stone(s) you're most attracted to, or listen to your current needs and rely on the virtues of the stones indicated on the cards.
2. How to use a stone
Generally speaking, during the day, you can place one or more stones in your pocket, bra or in a small fabric pouch worn as a necklace and at night, you can choose 1 or 2 stones and place them under your pillow or sheet.
You can also meditate or relax with one or more stones placed directly on your body, preferably on the corresponding chakra (indicated on the cards).
Before accompanying yourself with a stone, it may be a good idea to clarify your intention and thank your stone.
A handcrafted and local Advent calendar made by us
This Advent calendar is entirely imagined and lovingly created by us , at our home in Fontainemelon, in the canton of Neuchâtel.
The wooden numbers are cut and sanded in our workshop overlooking the garden, then laser-engraved by a local friend.
The cards were written and laid out by us and printed in the village.
The stones come from all over the world, and their provenance is indicated. We source exclusively from small, family-run lapidary businesses in Europe.
Packaging paper and cardboard come from Swiss companies.
Only the natural jute pouches are imported from Asia, to keep the price of this calendar affordable.
Everything is assembled in our living room, transformed into an elf workshop for the occasion.
A zero-waste Advent calendar with natural and reusable materials
In the face of plastic madness, over-consumption and the packaging so prevalent during the holiday season, we've chosen to offer a quality Advent calendar made exclusively from natural, sustainable and reusable materials.
You can also reuse the cardboard packaging, numbered sleeves and protective paper needed to ensure damage-free shipment.
Next year, you'll be able to buy only the stones from the 2025 calendar, along with their cards, to fill your pockets.
Precautions for use
To prevent choking on the stones, this calendar is not suitable for children under 3.
We strongly advise against making and consuming elixirs or gem water without a thorough knowledge of the chemical elements that make up the stone(s) used.
Lithotherapy is not a substitute for appropriate medical treatment and the event of illness, pathology or physical and psychological disorders. People with pacemakers are advised to consult their specialist before placing a stone on or near the heart area.
How do I purify the stones in this calendar?
Stones, crystals and minerals can become charged with the energies that surround them. To fully benefit from their therapeutic virtues, it is sometimes necessary to purify them. Simply place the stone you wish to purify on the flower of life supplied with your calendar, or run it under running water.
Some stones purify and refuel under the moon or sun, in the wind and rain, in contact with the earth or river water. Prayers, the sound of chimes, drums or singing bowls, or simply the power of intention, can also be excellent means of purification.

Quality natural stones, crystals and minerals
The stones in this calendar are 100% natural. They have undergone no chemical treatment or transformation other than cutting and polishing.
About half are rough stones and the other half are polished stones. It's only natural that their hues, shapes and sizes vary from one calendar to the next. Each stone is unique and tells its own story.

It's great to have a mix of rough and polished stones. The size of the rough stones is great! But the polished stones are really small. Too bad.
I'm really disappointed with raw Labradorite from Madagascar. Knowing that this stone, when polished, has magnificent blue and green reflections, unpolished it is very disappointing.
Otherwise, good presentation. Each stone has its own velvet pouch with an explanatory card.
Great idea to let everyone hang their calendar as they wish.

It's a pity that some stones came out of their bags during transport by post (6 stones) so it was difficult to find which stone for which bag/text, I had to search on the internet.
