Find out more about Gua Sha

It's also a massage and scraping tool that stimulates deep circulation. It's a stone/scraper in the shape of a heart, mushroom, wings, H, U, fish or other.
Traditionally, this scraper was made from cow horn. Nowadays, it's made from semi-precious stones, which has the advantage of combining the benefits of massage itself with those of lithotherapy. The most common stones used are Rose Quartz, Rock Crystal and Jade.

It is mainly used on the face and neck. A cream, oil or serum must be applied to the skin before starting the massage, so that the treatment is optimally absorbed by the skin. The skin must be washed and dried beforehand.

Two or three times a week, massage from the inside of the face outwards. Move in one direction only. First massage the cheeks, then the forehead and the more sensitive areas. Repeat several times. Finish with the neck.

This type of massage requires a certain know-how, precise gestures and relatively gentle movements. Pressure should be light. However, it is normal to observe a slight reddening of the massaged areas afterwards.

The benefits are numerous and quickly apparent (in just a few minutes): radiant complexion, smoother and firmer features, lymphatic drainage and stimulation of blood circulation.

The Gua Sha is even more stimulating and powerful than the stone roller or massage roller or jade roller, and its effect is consequently more intensive. It is used to complement the latter.

*Please note that lithotherapy is not a substitute for serious medical treatment.
*Please note! Some minerals may be toxic and must not be licked or ingested (as such or in the form of powder, elixir or stone water) or be in prolonged contact with the skin or mucous membranes.
