Instructions for use

Materials required

  • A stick of Palo Santo wood
  • Lighter or match
  • A non-flammable container (ashtray, ceramic dish, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Hold the Palo Santo stick at a 45-degree angle and light the end. Let the flame burn for about 30 seconds, until the wood smokes.
  2. Blow gently on the flame to extinguish it and fan the embers.
  3. Move into the room or space you wish to purify with the smoking Palo Santo stick. Let the smoke spread to every nook and cranny. You can also direct the smoke towards specific objects you wish to purify or around yourself. Blow regularly on the embers so that the stick doesn't go out.
  4. After use, place the Palo Santo stick in a non-flammable container and let it extinguish naturally.

You can reuse the same stick several times until it's completely consumed.

Precautions

Valid for all types of fumigation (incense, plants, sticks, resins, wood, etc. natural or not)

  • Always air the room thoroughly.
  • Place your incense out of the reach of children and pets, on a suitable heat-sensitive support and away from anything flammable.
  • Never leave incense burning unattended.
  • Do not inhale smoke directly.

Frankincense is not recommended for pregnant women and can be dangerous for people with respiratory problems, babies, asthmatics and small animals.
