What are the lithotherapy virtues of a rolled Labradorite stone?

Talisman - Lucidity - Introspection - Renewed outlook on self and others

Looking at a Labradorite is a fascinating pleasure; the gaze bewitches the mind, which projects itself onto iridescent reflections, like a call to visit another reality.

But just as a fascinated eye focuses on a stone, other eyes can influence our perspective on events and, without us necessarily realizing it, invade our minds with questions and issues that don't belong to us, and which we appropriate through empathy or misunderstood loyalties.

Allowing ourselves to be invaded by the gaze of others, by someone else's projections onto us, engages us in a perspective that is not our own. In lithotherapy, Labradorite is a stone of protection against these negative energies, to which hypersensitive people are exposed by their gift of identification.

The stone teaches you that there are better things to do with this empathic gift. For example, using it to correct a distorted perspective, to shed imaginary burdens through introspection, to open the way to a true understanding of yourself and others.
Seeking to understand yourself by adopting a personal questioning approach that fosters your autonomy, means asserting a new outlook, both receptive to the problems of others and attentive to the independence of your criteria. Labradorite can accompany you on this journey of individuation.

There are many varieties of Labradorite; all share the common characteristics discussed above; others are unique to them:

  • White Labradorite is associated with serenity.
  • Larkivite, to revelation and enchantment
  • Spectrolite, to the intensity of emotions and feelings
  • golden Labradorite, to the awakening of your solar being
  • Labradorite violet, to the revelation of ambiguity in those around you.

How do you use your talisman?

Its protective virtues in lithotherapy accompany you by keeping it in your pocket, by your bed for a restful night's sleep, or on your desk, or anywhere in your living space to promote its effects on perception, concentration and relaxation.

Which stone to match it with?

You can accompany your stone with a rolled Rock Crystal to enhance the action of your intuition.
Other combinations are possible: you can, for example, combine it with a rolled Citrine stone to assert yourself and gain in vitality.

Purifying rolled Labradorite

You can cleanse or recharge your stone by exposure to the moon, running water, earth, a waveform, fumigation, the action of a singing bowl or prayers.

Mineralogy of your rolled Labradorite

It is a fairly resistant mineral (hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale).

Labradorite consists mainly of sodium, calcium, silicon and aluminum.

Its iridescent reflections vary according to the source of the light and the angle of view: this is due to the interaction of photons on the inner lamellae of the stone. The iridescence of the stone will vary according to its composition.

Gray or white in color, Labradorite will show blue, green, yellow, gold and violet hues.
Golden Labradorite has golden and coppery reflections.
Dark-gray Larvikite has dark-blue or gray iridescence, or other colors depending on its impurities.
Green Labradorite has greenish reflections.
Black Labradorite has a more metallic sheen.
Spectrolite, a blue Labradorite, powerful violet and red effects.
