What are the lithotherapy virtues of a rolled Chrysoprase stone?

Rebirths and new cycles - Joy, enthusiasm and appeasement - Parent-child bonding - Good luck and abundance

Its symbols

If the color green is synonymous with hope, Chrysoprase's palette of greens makes it an absolute representation of the potential for rebirth, representing spring, a new season of the spirit calling for the renewal of a new beginning.

This link with nature also speaks of the trust it must inspire in us in relation to its cyclical powers; for if sunshine follows storm, heat follows winter, life can conquer nothingness.

Benefits of your rolled stone

In lithotherapy, this Golden Leek - the meaning of Chrysoprase's name in ancient Greek - is a talisman nourishing hope and action leading to the improvement of our condition.

It accompanies the hero or heroine who takes on the world, aware of its dangers, but driven by an enthusiasm that has been renewed by calming fears. To change is also to free oneself.

In its own way, stone finds the right words in its evidence of re-establishing a link with your deep and shared nature: we are an integral part of the natural cycles that shape life's advances and retreats. It's a reminder that signifies the new beginning of a presence that needs to be lived to the full.

Its green hues, crystalline and radiant, speak of strength and energy, impatient to come back to life, but soothed by the security and confidence that comes from the certainty of feeling.

Physical effects

There's no scientific proof, but tradition has it that Chrysoprase is a detoxifier for the body.

Mother/father/child bonding

It crystallizes a vital and tender love, reflecting the ideal feelings of parents and children. The stone can help strengthen family ties by understanding and feeling its symbol.

Use

For everyday use, in your pocket; for a treatment, directly on the affected area.

What lithotherapy stones should Chrysoprase be combined with?

The properties of Chrysoprase can be enhanced in lithotherapy by its synergy with complementary stones. Here are a few examples:

Mineralogy of a rolled Chrysoprase

The stone is an assemblage of several silica polymorphs: Quartz, Moganite, Chalcedony and sometimes Opal. Other classifications identify it as a variety of Chalcedony.

It is a cryptocrystalline quartz, sometimes translucent, always bright, with a waxy to vitreous appearance.

Its fibrous structure is dense and features nickel silicates in its crystalline organization - which explains its green color.

The deposits are found in Australia, which supplies the finest gems. It is also mined in Germany, Brazil, the United States, Poland and Madagascar.

Its hardness ranges from 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale.
