Mineralogy of your rolled jasper stones

A variety of microcrystalline quartz from the Chalcedony family, jasper is composed mainly of Silica.
Its patterns and colors are explained by its inclusions and impurities. For example :

Picasso Jasper has iron and manganese inclusions; Dalmatian Jasper, feldspar and tourmaline.

Jasper Bourdon contains calcite, volcanic sediments and arsenic sulfides. Because of its toxic elements - Bourdon Jasper contains potentially dangerous sulfur and arsenic - it's best to avoid prolonged direct contact and wash hands after handling.

Eisenkiesel Jasper has iron oxide inclusions; K2 Jasper, in Granite, has blue spheres of azurite and sometimes malachite.

Leopard Jasper contains various mineral inclusions that explain its distinctive patterns.
Bird's Eye Jasper contains traces of iron; Picasso Jasper is mixed with snow quartz.
Porcelanite Jasper contains Dendrites, sometimes Orbs; Zebra Jasper, Stromatolite and iron.

It can be found all over the world, but especially in Australia, North and South America, India and Egypt.

On the Mohs scale, its hardness ranges from 6.5 to 7, making it a relatively tough mineral.
