What's special about Maroma and Auroville incense?
In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, an experimental town with the goal of human unity was built in 1968: Auroville is as much a place for community living as it is for spiritual and material research. Diverse cultures and nationalities are represented here for a number of sustainable development, education, health and art projects. These include the creation of handcrafted products in search of environmental harmony, such as Auroville and Maroma incense.
Maroma dedicates part of its profits to the social and environmental development of Auroville and the villages in the region.
Natural and pure ingredients
Auroville and Maroma create quality products with relaxing and energizing scents, made from natural ingredients that are mostly phthalate and charcoal-free, often organic and vegan, and respecting the standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
They do not test their products on animals.
