The benefits of Sagrada Madre natural incense
Founded in the 1990s by the Rodriguez family, Sagrada madre - holy mother - is a family-run business specializing in the artisanal manufacture of incense in Argentina. The range consists of different types of incense made by hand using only natural ingredients.
Guided by a passion for nature, spirituality and the desire to produce quality incense, Sagrada Madre combines herbs, resins and essential oils in blends designed to transport the senses into a state of serenity and well-being.
The plants and herbs come in the form of chips or powder, the resins in very small pieces or powder. The binder used to bind the various ingredients is made from plants, while the combustion agent is often derived from recycled biomass from fruit waste used in the Patagonian juice industry. Some incense also contains salt.

Uses: incense powder can be used in a variety of ways
Alone: place a small pile of powder on a heat-supported surface, then light the top. When the amalgam is ablaze, extinguish with a quick gesture of the hand (do not blow).
With other plants and resins: add a pinch of powder to your own mixtures and burn over charcoal.

Sahumitos are small bundles and preparations of dried herbs, resins and flowers that are burned during rituals, ceremonies, or for various personal or therapeutic practices.
Sagrada Madre's Sahumitos smudge consists of a bundle of different plants surrounded by an outer layer of another plant or resin.
Burning time is around 120 minutes.
To use: hold the bundle where the string is visible and light the end, blowing well over the embers. Let the smoke disperse well in the space; you can move around holding it in your hand or place it on a heat-supporting surface. To extinguish it, you can crush it on sand or let it burn out completely on a suitable support. Ventilate the room well.
Smudge balls generate large quantities of smoke quickly and are ideal for rapid purification (between two patients in an office, for example).
Burning time is around 8min.
To use: light your smudge ball and place it on its flat side on a heat-supporting surface. Blow the flame carefully until smoke emerges. When the smoke has dissipated in the room and the smudge ball is completely burnt out, let it cool down completely before throwing it away and open the windows wide to ventilate.
