Smudge Ball
Smudge balls (also known as "bombitas" or "smudge bombs") are fumigation balls made from different plants.
Handmade using only natural ingredients (plants, flowers, resins, charcoal, salt and natural binders) in an ethical and eco-responsible way in Argentina, smudge balls are the ideal solution for many fumigation rituals.
They have the particularity of generating a very large quantity of smoke in a short space of time (approx. 8 min.), which is ideal for energetic cleansing of a room (e.g. a therapy room between two patients or after a family argument in the dining room), energetic cleansing of a person's aura, to open up a ritual space or any other use that does not require a long fumigation time.
How to use a smudge ball
Light your smudge ball and place it on its flat side on a heat-resistant surface. Carefully extinguish the flame until smoke is released. Allow the smoke to disperse around the room or around a person, or you can leave the smudge ball where it is or move around with it (taking care to use a suitable support so as not to burn yourself).
When the smoke has dispersed well in the room and the smudge ball is completely burnt out, let it cool down completely before throwing it away. Then open the windows wide to ventilate.
Precautions for use
Always place incense on a heat-resistant surface and away from flammable objects. Wait until the smuge ball has burned down completely and cooled down before touching it and discarding it. Fumigation is not recommended in the presence of pregnant women, babies, small animals or people suffering from respiratory illnesses. Always ventilate well.
