Instructions for use
There are various methods for burning incense powder:
Coal-free
- Make a small mound of incense powder on a heat-sensitive surface
- Light the top, blowing very lightly to extinguish the flame without dispersing the powder.
- The powder burns away, gently releasing its fragrance.
With coal
- In a suitable censer, light your charcoal until it crackles.
- Place a small amount of incense powder (1 teaspoon) on the charcoal.
- You can add your own blend of resins and dried plants to your powder.
- Let the smoke disperse and don't touch your censer until it has cooled.
When using coal, the smell is stronger and the smoke denser.
Precautions
Valid for all types of fumigation (incense, plants, sticks, resins, wood, etc. natural or not)
- Always air the room thoroughly.
- Place your incense out of the reach of children and pets, on a suitable heat-sensitive support and away from anything flammable.
- Never leave incense burning unattended.
- Do not inhale smoke directly.
Frankincense is not recommended for pregnant women and can be dangerous for people with respiratory problems, babies, asthmatics and small animals.
About Sagrada madre
