While Calcite can take on many colors, its variants share a strong symbol linked to the harmonious growth of the spirit. The splendor of crystal personifies a primordial force, a vigor giving life to dormant energies that need to be awakened and set in motion.

Virtues of all Calcites

If sometimes life seems to stagnate, it's because energy is lacking or poorly channeled, making change very difficult.

Calcite can help untangle a situation, amplifying the circulation of energies through its reminder of resilience. In lithotherapy, the stone's purification stimulates a new vision, supporting self-belief.

It will help you overcome anxiety by supporting your ability to adapt to new circumstances. It's a reminder that a prison is mortifying in its rigidity, and that you need to relativize any fixed conception of ways of doing, reacting and positioning yourself. It's a reminder of the importance of fluidity and flexibility.

Personal growth is nourished by stimulating the stone of mental development, self-confidence, memory and learning.

Blue Calcite bracelet symbols

Blue Calcite is a benevolent stone conducive to expression and dialogue. It gives emotions their rightful place, so that recurring exchanges can transform relationships in the direction of family harmony.

A bracelet in blue Calcite will be a support for and for whom communicating their feelings without irritation and without losing sight of listening to the other is not self-evident. Its comfort will be a reminder of the benevolence needed to share a feeling of security and peace, by virtue of mutual understanding and respect, renewed in appeasement.

Yellow Calcite bracelet symbols

Yellow Calcite's extrovert energy will help people who are hesitant about their worth, martyred by sadness or shyness. The stone's jovial and sunny nature will be an invitation to expose oneself to the light of the star of life, which can then illuminate the validity of the will to live and shine.

The introvert will come out of his shelter because suddenly the strength to dare appears to him as a right: the joy of the stone will strengthen his will if he understands in his innermost being the self-confidence that expression and freedom bring.

Yellow Calcite's reputation as a lucky charm is linked to the idea of abundance, generous social exchange and openness to life's gifts. In this, it is also a call to keep one's eyes open to oneself and to others.

Manganocalcite or pink calcite bracelet symbols

At difficult times, the gift of a certain love brings gentleness, calm and reassurance.

When you really need it, Manganocalcite's virtues will bring comfort to heartbreak, promoting emotional security through emotional intelligence. For the stone will be a reminder of the omnipresence of love, which a sensitive vision can never truly lose.

But it also speaks of the need for adaptation, patience and kindness. Pink Calcite provides support and relief when we encounter our emotions differently, not in their grip, but in the quest to restore an integrity that will enable us to bear and accept separation and loss. So rediscovering calm and gentleness with the help of this stone can be a first step towards soothing and awakening compassion.

Physical effects of a Calcite bracelet

There is no scientific proof of Calcite's action on the body, but rather a well-established tradition in lithotherapy that invests the crystal with a beneficial power over excess acidity in the body, to support bones, healing, blood coagulation and growth in general.

How do you wear your Calcite bracelet?

Ideally, this generous stone should be worn in contact with the skin at regular intervals.

Which stones to combine with your bracelet?

In lithotherapy, your Calcite jewel can be combined with other crystals to amplify the effect of its energy. For example:

Notes on the mineralogy of blue, yellow and pink calcites

The name of the stone, which comes from the Latin calx, "lime", indicates its composition: it's a calcium carbonate that has crystallized at low temperatures in a wide variety of forms.

Abundant on Earth, Calcite forms in sedimentary rocks and sometimes in metamorphic and igneous environments.

Its wide range of colors is determined by its chemical composition: the blue color is rare and can be explained by particular conditions and the presence of cobalt or copper in most cases; iron will give it a yellow hue and manganese colors it pink.

It is not very hard and must be handled with care: on the Mohs scale, its hardness is 3.
