The meaning of your golden Obsidian bracelet

In lithotherapy

It's also known as gold. Golden Obsidian is a healing stone, encouraging you to overcome the wounds of your psyche.

It helps you overcome negativism, even when its roots run deep within you. It teaches you to see the positive in everything. In its own way, it's a stone of protection.

On a physical level, any wound, sore or other injury will heal more quickly thanks to its action.

Chakras and Astrology

Golden obsidian is associated with the root, sacral and solar chakras. It corresponds to the element Earth and the sign Sagittarius.

Its mineralogy

Black with yellow highlights, Golden Obsidian is a rare variety of Obsidian, itself a volcanic rock formed by the rapid cooling of silica-rich lava.

Its name comes from its metallic gold or silver lustre, due to the presence of small bubbles of water vapour. These bubbles, trapped in the black glass, reflect light at different angles and create an iridescent effect. Its hardness ranges from 5 to 5.5 on the Mohs scale.

Golden Obsidian is found mainly in Mexico, where it was recently discovered.
