What are the lithotherapy virtues of a Magnesite bracelet?

Patience - Anti-stress - Balance and stability - Peace - Self-love

For and undergoing moments of stress, anxiety or anguish, Magnesite can provide calm and serenity.

Its soothing virtues invite you to let go; its gentleness accompanies you to better realize the importance of getting closer to one's essence through introspection, tempering and contextualizing the emotions that invade you to open up to reasoned perception.

Your Magnesite jewel encourages you to be patient in the face of things that can suddenly take on too much. Tolerance applies to all that is perceived as imperfect, whether it derives from your own mind or from the actions of others.

It's the price of balance and stability. Your Magnesite bracelet can be your companion against all odds, helping you to preserve a clear mind, able to call on memory and past experiences in all lucidity, without neglecting empathy or relativization, for rich and productive concentration.

Its liberating properties, both measured and poetic, will act as a bulwark against overwork by evoking the self-esteem it represents. The affection we feel for ourselves, the self-love that opens our eyes to our value and that which connects us to others, can be the foundation of a meditation aspiring to peace and wholeness.

The physical benefits of your jewel have no scientific proof, but tradition attributes a detoxifying action on the body to Magnesite: it could help with digestive problems and weight loss, or be useful for headaches.

Notes on the mineralogy of your bracelet

In ancient times, Magnesite could be confused with lime. Today, it's sometimes mistaken for howlite, which is in fact a completely different mineral - Magnesite is a magnesium carbonate, howlite a calcium silicate.

Magnesite may contain traces of many minerals (iron or manganese oxides, cobalt or nickel...) which ultimately determine its color.

It can also be artificially dyed blue or blue-green - in which case it's called Turquenite.

This stone is relatively delicate: its hardness on the Mohs scale is 3.5 to 4.5. It is therefore important to treat it with care and avoid rubbing it against other stones.

*Please note that lithotherapy is not a substitute for serious medical treatment.
*Please note! Some minerals may be toxic and must not be licked or ingested (as such or in the form of powder, elixir or stone water) or be in prolonged contact with the skin or mucous membranes.
