White Labradorite belongs to the plagioclase feldspar family, with a triclinic crystal structure. Its labradorescence is a phenomenon of brilliance due to the diffraction of light on its inner lamellae.
It can be found in Canada, Finland, Madagascar, India and Sri Lanka.
Its hardness ranges from 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, making it a moderately hard stone. It is resistant to abrasion, but beware of scratches!
