Dioptase
minerals

With its intense green color, Dioptase is a rare stone that stimulates the body and mind, acting on the heart chakra in lithotherapy.

What are the properties and virtues of Dioptase in lithotherapy?

Emotional release - Clarity - Transformation - New perspectives - Hope - Inner wealth - Bringing dreams to life - Creativity - Imagination

The symbols associated with Dioptase originate from the analogies associated with its powerful emerald color and its rarity, the source of its effect on the heart chakra in lithotherapy.

A relatively recent discovery

Mistaken for emerald when discovered in the late 18th century in the steppes of present-day Kazakhstan, Dioptase was soon identified as a distinct mineral by mineralogist René Just Haüy. This pioneer of crystallography then gave it its name, derived from the ancient Greek dia ("through") and optazo ("I see"), in reference to the transparent stone's visible internal cleavages.

Lithotherapy benefits

Its action on the heart chakra in lithotherapy results in a deeply liberating approach to emotions.

First and foremost, it fosters a new closeness and perspective from the harmful effects of the past, like a companion helping you to free yourself from trauma by delivering you from the grief, anger and anxiety resulting from the nagging pain of your spiritual wounds.

It is then a reminder of the need for compassion and forgiveness, which are also an expression of self-love. This awareness will stimulate a maturing of consciousness, opening up to a new insight into intuition, the foundation of growth through transformation as a human being.

Detaching yourself from the past and supporting the feelings of the present moment, Dioptase will help you experience life-saving changes and bring new projects to fruition. For the present also manifests itself in your dreams and the understanding of your inner wealth, ingenuity and potential. Dioptase encourages you not to restrict your imagination and creativity, essential tools for realizing your aspirations.

On a physical level

There is no scientific evidence to support this, but, due to its copper content, in lithotherapy Dioptase boosts the immune system and relieves pain caused by inflammation. It can also benefit the liver and help with chronic headaches.

Where to place a Dioptase?

It will encourage creativity in your workplace.

In the living room or in a central spot in your home, it will guarantee balance and empathy.

You can place it on a painful area for a while.
