What are the virtues and properties of Feldspar in lithotherapy?

Nature - Balance - Stability - New outlook - Flexibility - New perspectives - Positivity - Confidence

Origins and symbols

The name Feldspar comes from the German words "Feld" (field) and "Spat" (fragile stone). In these ancient Nordic traditions, its nature was associated with the Earth, balance and stability. It was a talisman acting against harmful energies and promoting clarity of mind.

Lithotherapy benefits

Lithotherapy recognizes Feldspar's harmonizing and balancing power, both in terms of perceiving your intuitions and stabilizing your emotions.
By calming anxiety, it encourages creative ways of connecting, fostering self-love and openness to others. In this way, it nourishes all personal growth.

Feldspar encourages you to change your point of view, to broaden your perceptions and see things in a new light. This may make it easier for you to find solutions to problems, to see the bigger picture or to experience events in a different way - perhaps more in line with your values if you choose to make the necessary changes.

A very positive stone, Feldspar is an ally that reminds you that flexibility opens doors. After the rain, the sun will shine, even if it takes patience.

Feldspar mineralogy

Feldspar is a component of many rocks and covers around 60% of the earth's crust. These minerals form in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks.

This group of aluminosilicate minerals is divided into two main subgroups: Alkali Feldspars (Orthoclase, Microcline) and Plagioclases (Albite, Anorthite).

Their hardness varies between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs scale - making them a relatively hard mineral.
