Jadeite
lavender, lilac, green, in pendants, gemstones, rolled stones

Jadeite, a sodium and silicate, is characterized by its hardness and high density.
In lithotherapy, this stone is renowned for its soothing and stimulating effects on the psyche.

What are the properties and benefits of Jadeite in lithotherapy?

Soothing - Balancing - Wisdom - Luck - Prosperity - Emotional stability and healing - Comfort - Clarity of mind - Creativity

The origin of its symbols

In ancient China, it was sometimes confused with Nephrite. But the intense color of the green jadeite imported from Burma in the 19th century - imperial green - combined with the ecstatic aura of its crystalline sound, made the stone a symbol of harmonious purity and virtue at the royal court.

Lavender jadeite is much rarer. In contemporary esoteric traditions, it is sometimes referred to as the "stone of angels", because of its link to peace of mind and its connection to transcendent energies.

Spiritual meaning and energetic virtues in lithotherapy

In addition to the calm and balance attributed to it by lithotherapy, Jadeite offers additional attributes depending on its color: stability, luck or wisdom, or emotional healing and support for the intuition of a creative vision.

Green Jadeite

Green jadeite is said to have the properties of a talisman: by helping to stabilize the emotions, it provides an opening to wisdom and the support of a lucidity capable of seizing luck and prosperity.

This serene continuity ensures inner harmony, listening to oneself and others, and reinforces consistent and sincere relationships with others.

Although not scientifically proven, it is traditionally used to aid kidney function and relieve bladder and spleen disorders.

Lavender Jadeite

Lithotherapy considers lavender jadeite an emotional healing stone.

Its action on mental clarity can help to calm anxiety - and , according to tradition, the heartbeat - as well as to ward off pessimistic thoughts. Its accompaniment can provide spiritual comfort in times of change, transition or bereavement.

Jadeite lila

Lila jadeite is distinguished from lavender jadeite by its slightly darker tones.

This stone has the rare power in lithotherapy to soothe the negative energies of nervousness, annoyance or exasperation, or the unproductive energies of restlessness, sublimating them in complete serenity into an adjuvant that stimulates intuition and creativity.

So, in any creative endeavor, it will stimulate the meditation and mental clarity needed to bring a project to fruition. With compassion and wisdom, it helps to understand the feelings of others.

Jadeite mineralogy

Jadeite is a and silicate belonging to the pyroxene group.

It was formed in high-pressure metamorphic situations, mostly in subduction zones.

Its color is determined by the presence of traces of chromium for green, iron for darker shades and manganese for lavender tones.

Its best-known deposits are in Burma (Imperial Green Jadeite). Other veins are found in the United States, Guatemala, Japan and Russia.

Jadeite has a high hardness (6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale) and density.
