What are the symbols and virtues of a pink stone?

History, love and sweetness

It may seem surprising, but pink as a sign associated with femininity is a fairly recent phenomenon.
Historically, pink was a neutral color for both sexes, at least until the early 20th century, when boys and girls of all classes dressed indifferently in pink or blue.
Then, at the turn of the 1950s, the feminization of pink was accompanied by the intriguing masculinization of blue. In fact, all this coincided with the development of mass production and commerce. Female and star-system media icons adopted pink, its delicate appearance and floral motifs as symbols of femininity.
Marketing did the rest, encouraging this identification of women and girls through targeted sales strategies.

But pink isn't just a commercial construct. The color is symbolically linked to tenderness, love and regeneration; it is love, life and light in Alchemy, which speaks of rebirth through gentleness, reflection and contemplation.

Light pink can be soothing and comforting, reducing irritation.
Brighter, more intense or fluorescent pink can be an energetic stimulant, or a sign of superficiality.
Because too much pink harms pink. Its balance with other colors seems primordial for an adult, if you don't want to appear too naive or optimistic.

The love represented by pink is intimate and concerns all bonds, whether they be amorous, friendly or familial. Used well, pink is a force. It speaks of our care for others and our ability to reflect on our feelings. Pink makes us both vulnerable and secure. As long as we take a measured approach, without denying the negative aspects of life.

The power of pink in lithotherapy

The color pink is often linked to the heart chakra, Anahata, the center of love, emotions and compassion.
So pink symbolizes love, gentle tenderness and emotional healing in lithotherapy.

A pink stone can promote emotional balance and harmony.
It can help to overcome sadness, grief and bereavement, through a sense of comfort, support and protection.
Old wounds can resurface during periods of transition. A fine pink stone will be ideal to soothe you with the healing properties of its regenerative symbols.

Rose Quartz, a soothing stone par excellence, is known to help restore chakra harmony.

Under the pillow, Amethyst is the ideal pink stone for sleep and anti-stress.

In lithotherapy, emotional healing goes hand in hand with the evidence of love and the quest for spiritual peace. The color pink invites us to strengthen our bonds so that our fears dissipate and our hearts open to forgiveness, empathy and tolerance.

Mineralogy of pink gemstones

The pink of a stone in all its shades, or minerals and gems with pink reflections, can sometimes be explained by geological processes that can be rare and complex.

The pink color can also be attributed to the existence of mineral inclusions such as copper, phosphorus or Dumortierite, for example, which are created during crystallization.

Or it may be due to the stone's chemical and mineral composition.
