The benefits of an Aragonite pendant

In lithotherapy

Aragonite, whether white, brown, blue, yellow or green (or many other colors), is a stone of stability. It helps anchor you by keeping you in the here and now. It's an effective stone for anyone with a tendency to scatter.
With an Aragonite pendant, you can let your imagination grow on solid foundations. It brings structure to those who lack it.

Its mineralogy

Not to be confused with Calcite. Aragonite shares with the latter and Vaterite its carbonate mineral source - subjected for millennia to the pressures of fresh or sea water. Their common origin(calcium carbonate) produces particular crystalline forms for each of these stones. Occasionally, Aragonite features an "orthorhombic" crystal system, producing rod- or needle-shaped crystals.

Its different hues are due to the stone's impurities and oxidation by virtue of its water content. It may contain iron, copper, manganese or other elements; the purest being white Aragonite. Blue and yellow variants are fairly uncommon.
