What are the lithotherapy properties of African jade?

Patience and endurance - Spiritual balance - Determination - Painkillers

Budstone is linked to the heart chakra. Your pendant will be a catalyst of impulses whose energy will nourish balance instead of destabilizing you. Releasing this energy and channeling it helps us gain confidence in our own evolutionary potential, provided we set goals that are both realistic and in line with our ideals.

Calm and patient, the spirit gives itself the means to achieve its ambitions. This new determination is only possible through a new approach to the relationships that bind us to the world. A new way of looking at things that puts us on an equal footing with others, by integrating the contradictions of the Other as a mirror of our own complexities. Diplomacy, by definition, is about balance.

This quest for harmony is matched by protection against physical pain. By freeing our energies, we can better heal the pain of a migraine.

Mineralogy of your Budstone pendant necklace

Budstone is a mica, a silicate mineral. Its more or less dark leek-green color reflects inclusions of iron and magnesium, chromium and lithium. Transparent or opaque, the luster of African jade can be vitreous or pearly. Its name is a commercial creation that distinguishes the South African stone from other Quartz prase and Prasiolites gems used in jewelry.
Its hardness on the Mohs scale is 7, making it a hard mineral.
