Preferably no water, as Chalcopyrite can tarnish with water. Fumigation, shape waves (e.g. placing the stone on a flower of life), wind or breath, intention, prayer, chimes etc. are all methods that can be used. For the moon and the sun, you can do it if it makes sense to you. Chalcopyrite is rather solar.
