Apatite's virtues and properties
In lithotherapy
To lose weight
According to some, blue, green or yellow apatite can be a great help in lithotherapy for slimming; for weight loss, as part of a balanced diet designed by a nutritionist.
Intuition and creativity
Apatite is often associated with Howlite pearls. For aesthetic reasons: their textures and colors, one veined and smooth, the other sublime with brilliant hues; not to mention their spiritual compatibility: both, with their expressive and listening faculties, foster an intuition conducive to creativity.
To strengthen bones
It's the stone to use if you want to strengthen your nails, teeth, bones or hair. Apatite has the power to work on bone regeneration and structure and helps to heal fractures and bone-related problems such as osteoporosis. Contributing to healthy teeth by caring for their enamel is another of its virtues. It also promotes hair growth, prevents hair loss and strengthens nails.
Blue Apatite
With its magnificent intense blue color, this stone favors communication with the subtle worlds, helps you develop your clair-senses, particularly your intuition, and connects you with the ancestral knowledge of the druids and healers of yesteryear. It's the stone of shamans and all those who work with subtle energies.
Blue Apatite works wonders for the ENT sphere, helping to heal chronic infections such as otitis, tonsillitis and bronchitis. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and lowers fever.
A stone of wisdom, its meaning invites you to take a more global view of events and helps you to step back and see things with greater clarity and accuracy, in order to act justly and consciously.
Green Apatite
Green Apatite has a healing energy linked to the natural world. It's that walk in the forest that does you so much good and invites you to breathe deeply. It's that elemental being, that nature spirit you've come across on your path and who has happily told you to listen to your heart.
It's a stone well-suited to growing adolescents, who are going through many bodily changes and emotional and relational difficulties related to this stage of life, or for anyone needing to reconnect with the energies of nature.
Yellow Apatite
It regulates adrenalin secretions, which is very beneficial in cases of emotional shock. It has a calming effect on hot-tempered people and contributes to the proper functioning of the liver, bladder and kidneys.

For chronic ENT infections, wear a blue apatite necklace every day.
Where to place an Apatite?

In your treatment room, it will encourage exchanges with the subtle worlds and help you use your healing gifts.
In your bedroom, it will encourage premonitory dreams and help you remember the meaning of your dreams and the messages received during your sleep.
A green Apatite in your garden will improve plant health and growth.
Apatite mineralogy
Apatite's name comes from the Greek apate, which could be translated as "imposture", due to its resemblance to many minerals. It belongs to the group of phosphate minerals, of which it is the most common; it is also the primary source of phosphorus for plants.
Like apatite, human and animal bones and teeth in general are made of calcium phosphate.
Its crystals can be hexagonal, prismatic, dipyramidal or mostly squat.
Apatite can fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
