What is the significance of a fine orange stone?

A solar symbol on a par with yellow stones, it signifies an optimistic vision of life and a zest for living it. The mineralogical processes that lead to the natural creation of an orange stone can be complex and varied. The coloring factors may relate to inclusions or impurities in the stone - for example, the presence of nitrogen may explain the orange hue of a diamond, but it will be the fossilization of organic material at the origin of Amber that will determine its orange and golden color. When the orange color is due to iron - as in the case of certain Chalcedony varieties - this characteristic is accentuated by the rusting of the mineral. And these are just a few examples, each stone is individual and the fruit of a history and its influences.
