Kûrma stones and minerals

Kûrma invites you to journey into the vast and fascinating world of crystals, stones and minerals. A magical journey to discover the treasures of the earth. In our large "lithothèque", you can discover the must-haves of amateurs, collectors and enthusiasts, as well as rare minerals that you don't come across every day.

Provenance, authenticity and quality

Buying a stone on the Internet is no easy task, as the number of online sales sites continues to grow and there are unfortunately many counterfeit products available.
We have the advantage of being passionate about minerals and our work. It's extremely important for us to provide you with precise information about the stone(s) you choose and to be able to guarantee its provenance, quality and authenticity. For us, knowledge is key and we study mineralogy almost daily to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
All our stones are natural, although some have been "treated" (mainly in pearls). When this is the case, it is indicated on the product sheet.

  • Our minerals, menhirs, rolled stones, rough stones, pendants and pebbles are worked exclusively by passionate European lapidaries chosen for their respect for the stones and for the quality and care of their work.
  • For our bracelets, massage sticks, beads and pendulums, we work with European retailers, but these items are made in China for reasons of cost (it's impossible to find this kind of item made in Europe and for the few varieties available in Europe, prices are very high).
  • If you're particularly sensitive to the ethical issues surrounding stone extraction, we advise you to choose stones from countries that apply and respect workers' rights and environmental preservation laws, as it is unfortunately impossible for us at the moment to undertake a world tour to visit every single mine (the only way to be able to say "yes, everything's ok").

Different shapes and varieties

We do our best to provide a wide choice of varieties of polished and rough stones and shapes for all types of use. Here you can buy semi-precious stone beads, rough minerals, rolled stones, menhirs, healing pebbles, pendulums and massage sticks, stone jewelry, pendants, bracelets and more. We also offer displays and storage boxes for easy storage or display of your stones and jewelry, plus small explanatory cards for many stones

The therapeutic virtues of stones

We are deeply convinced of the therapeutic benefits of minerals and we put all our heart and knowledge into describing as precisely as possible the virtues and lithotherapy uses of each stone, so as to offer you a place of reference on the subject. If you wish, you can ask us for personalized lithotherapy advice or the creation a personalized bracelet according to your needs or desires.
All our stones can be used to practice lithotherapy, but some varieties must not be used in gem water, elixirs or put in the mouth or in contact with mucous membranes for toxicity reasons.

Please note! Lithotherapy in no way replaces appropriate medical treatment for physical or psychological illnesses and disorders.

How do I choose a stone on the Internet?

Although the disadvantage of the Internet is that you can't touch or see the stone "in real life", it is perfectly possible to choose a stone according to your feelings or desired virtues.

Since the energy of stones is part of the subtle world, it's possible to have many sensations without physically touching a stone. By looking at a photo or simply reading its name, you can listen and feel whether the stone "attracts" you or not. If a sensation, like a shiver, runs through your body, if the rhythm of your heart changes slightly, if you feel a tingling in your body, if you don't feel anything at all but you're still attracted to the stone, then you can be sure you're not making a mistake when choosing it.

Thanks to the descriptions under each category of stone or to the various texts you can find in books on lithotherapy, you can easily choose your stone according to the desired virtues.

If you wish to have quality stones with a "high" vibratory rate and be certain of their authenticity, we advise you not to choose your stones on cheap Chinese sales platforms and to avoid so-called "certificates of authenticity".
Real certificates of authenticity are issued for precious stones and certain gem-quality stones, which are very, very expensive. They can only be issued by well-known and recognized gemmological laboratories. If a seller gives you a certificate of authenticity for an Amber, a Turquoise or any other semi-precious stone for less than 1000.00 - you can be sure that it's a false certificate and even for these stones there are very well forged certificates of authenticity with watermarks and all, so it's imperative to find out which laboratory issued the certification.

Please note that a certificate is valid for one stone and not for a batch, so if we were to supply a certificate with a Turquoise pendant, for example, the certificate would cost much more than the stone itself.
